Regulate module 3. Vegas nerve and Vegas toning tools. Module 3 overview. For those of you who have been waiting to learn the tools, This is your module. We’re gonna start learning 9 different vagal toning tools.

You won’t be using all of them every day, and I will give you specific guidelines at which tool to use when. In lesson 1, we’ll go over why use nervous system calming tools. Lesson 2, More on the vagus nerve and why vagus nerve toning exercises can restore healthy body function. Less than 3, Vegas nerve toning using the breath and sound. Lesson 4, vagus nerve toning using eye yoga or functional neurology based exercises to improve brain processing.

Hello again, and welcome back. After learning all we have about the chronic stress response, how it leads to chronic illness and discerning where we are on the polyvago ladder of safety, you might be thinking that the goal here is to get rid of stress. Sadly, that’s not the goal. We do live in a world of triggers, and stress is going to happen to us. Our goal is to improve our capacity to handle stress, not take your rid of it.
Specifically, this means being able to move through different states of triggers and activation levels, and to be able to return back to ventral vagal safety, which is calm and connected, so we don’t get stuck in a chronic stress response. We return to a state of nervous system regulation by disengaging the amygdala’s threat response and engaging optimal vagal tone, which sends messages of safety your nervous system and brings your biochemistry back into harmony. In the primal trust regulate program, we are going to learn that using tools of nervous system regulation to reset the stress signaling in your brain and improve your autonomic nervous system function will help to increase your overall capacity to hold space for the stress in your life. From this diagram here, Please notice that the red circle which is the size of the stress in your life might not even change. However, the green circle Your nervous system capacity to hold it to contain it grows, and that’s how nervous system regulation happens.

It’s not the absence of stress in our life. It’s the capacity to hold stress. The goals of using our nervous system regulation tools are to build resiliency in your nervous system and self regulate your biology in proving your health and well-being. The tools that you’re gonna be learning here are not meant to fix you, cure you, or save you. You heal by coming into alignment of your true nature and allowing your body’s wisdom for self healing to take over.

It’s not the tools. It’s important to discern this difference as you go forward. We will use top down and bottom up tools in the regulate program. Top down meaning brain retraining and mindful awareness. Bottom up, meaning vagus nerve toning, breath work, and somatics.

How to use the tools of primal trust. The tools of Primo Trust should be used daily to carve new patterns, behaviors, and perspectives. The primary purpose of the tools is to get your prefrontal cortex of your brain engaged in a healthy way and assist your nervous system to come out of a stress response more efficiently. The tools are not meant to be used as a quick fix it to make the symptoms go away. They are meant to be a lifestyle practice.

And, yes, the outcomes are that our stress based symptoms often disappear over time. The outcomes of the primal trust regulate tools. To engage our prefrontal brain, improve our heart communication, decrease stress hormones in the body and increase conscious presence. To move into a whole brain state that is more rational and discerning of true versus false threat, We also have access to higher wisdom in this whole brain state to increase the biochemistry of safety, the dose hormones, which lead to vitality and healing, symptom reduction, and even complete alleviation of our symptoms. To improve a sense of resilience and capacity for self regulation to handle life.

This is about experiencing primal trust. You are calmer, more embodied, and you feel more imperturbable to life’s challenges. This is so counterintuitive to understand that these tools are not to fix ourselves or fix our symptoms directly. We do not have conscious control over our symptoms. Rather, these are just to improve your body’s response to the stress to help self healing to occur.

As I mentioned before, resiliency is the ability to ride the wave of stress and return back to calm. Resiliency and self regulation is the primary goal of the primal trust process. This ability to Regulate our own biology in stressful situations helps the set point of our internal biochemistry to remain in a healing mode the majority of the time, even when life may have its challenges. I know you’re wondering if these tools or this program will cure your illness. Often people wanna guarantee this program will work.
Listen. When your body has the space to function as intended, I believe most things can heal, and some times we need outside help in addition to nervous system repair. I cannot guarantee a perfect outcome. But I can say that you cannot lose by implementing these practices. You will feel calmer, happier and likely much better physically.

After working now with over a thousand people with these tools, I have witnessed incredible results from a variety of ailments. So, yes, these tools can bring great healing. But anyone who has found their recovery will tell you these tools brought them something more important than their healing. These tools help them to rediscover and reconnect with themselves and reawaken their joy to be alive and live their purpose. Lastly, I wanna make sure I say this loud and clear.

Do not make this tool kit another stress inducing thing on your to do list. And do not mistake that you must do all of these tools in order to heal. I’m providing a complete tool kit. Much like a toolbox has several types of screwdrivers, hammers, nails, etcetera. You don’t use the whole toolbox every day, rather only the ones that are appropriate for you at the time.

The same with these tools, I will provide tools for all stages of chronic illness, and you will create a program that is right for you. You’re gonna find tools here that resonate and some that don’t. Also, do not make this course something that is causing you to feel like you need to use your tools all day long, watch videos all day long, and make your whole life about regulation. That will cause more stress. Rather, please learn from this program in a pace that works for you.
This entire toolkit is presented not to be used every day. I know I keep repeating that, but it’s important that you understand this. Plan on spending maybe 1 to up to 1 a half hours a day total on practicing nervous system healing. For the rest of the 12 plus hours you are awake during the day, please relax. Enjoy your life.

Focus on living and creating and do not mistake this toolkit as your savior. I see this happen too often in the self healing world. Clients get obsessed with tools and programs and end up making their entire day about these practices. And if you’re someone who’s already working full time, already busy, maybe just about 30 to 45 minutes a day to some of these practices, and that is okay. The bottom line is I would like everyone to pick some favorite tools of each section that I present.

That might mean picking a tool for your vagus nerve, your brain retraining, your somatic embodiment at a minimum each day. And from there, allow yourself to relax. Enjoy this learning and participate without fear driving your practices.
