Introduction : Lesson-3 : Origins of Primal Trust™ & Regulate™

The origins of primal trust and regulate program development. Much of the foundation of my understanding I bring started 20 years ago, my post graduate training as a physical therapist working with people chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and chronic movement disorders. I’ve been trained in various neuroscience based approaches working with the body and complex mind body symptoms. And I studied the works of John Surnal, Lauren Mar Mosley, David Butler, and Moore. I was trained in somatic movement therapy based on the work of Feldman Christ and Hannah Symmatics.
This background taught me how to use functional neurology exercises, somatic movements, and vagus nerve stimulation to improve the nervous system and improve the mind body connection. Then I had a diversion in my career when I became too ill to work. And like many healers, I devoted my efforts to helping others rather than myself, and eventually I had to go on my own journey. And I made the grave mistake of not using my own tools to help my body and instead look to medicine to fix my actions, mold issues, and endocrine issues. For some reason, I knew the science of nervous system regulation was so effective for chronic pain, and other types of brain based injuries, but I never perceived that my problems were a nervous system issue.
I felt my issues were solely due to infection and toxic exposure, and I didn’t think brain exercises were the answer. In those 10 plus years where I couldn’t work, I learned a lot. I took postgraduate courses to understand self healing, I learned about memory reconsolidation, trauma healing, energy healing, Polyvago theory, which has influenced this course a lot. Eventually, I realized that I had a blind spot, and I began doing brain based exercises and made nervous system regulation my number one priority. In 2017, I also found other brain retraining programs that had the same approach such as the dynamic neural retraining system and the lightning process.
And after hearing the testimonials of others within vection and toxic exposure recovering from a brain based approach. At first, I was upset. I had not used my own brain retraining tools to help my own body in all of those years that I applied to people with chronic pain, and at the same time I was relieved because I quickly understood the science of it all. And so I began to combine my functional neurology brain exercises with Limbic system retraining. And I had great results.
In overtime, I created my own brain retraining routine called the ABCdimensional shift, which you will learn in this course. And I weave together limbic system retraining and memory reconsolidation tools alongside vagus nerve toning, somatic movements, polyvagal theory, and more to create a brain body rewire process that I debuted in 2019 with my original level 1 course that was titled creating CALM. For those of you who’ve taken this course, that course creating calm. Please know regulate is very different, so it’s not going to be a repeat for the most part. Since that 2019 course, over a thousand people have taken it, and I have been working the past almost 3 years to make a full professional version.
And I’ve updated the materials to officially present it to the world. And so now I present regulate 1 of the first programs to weave together brain retraining functional neurology, vagus nerve toning, somatics, and a trauma based understanding together so that no stone is left unturned. Of course, you may notice I also have a level 2 program that’s extremely popular called the Primal Trust mentorship. This was created because I saw an immediate need in the community of brain retrainers to have a more in-depth guidance process that wasn’t being addressed in brain retraining programs alone. The level 2 program weaves together in our attachment repair, trauma healing, parts work and true self discovery to greatly enhance your rewiring process, and it’s been highly successful as people not only find freedom from their symptoms, But more importantly, they orient to themselves, to a life that’s about living their purpose, a win win.
I highly recommend that you continue your primal trust journey with level 2 once you’ve completed level 1, regulate. Lastly, I just want to thank various thought leaders who’ve influenced my work. Some of them have been Doctor Norman Deutsch, Doctor John Sarno, Doctor Jodicebenza, Doctor Steven Porges, Annie Hopper, Phil Parker, Robert Williams, Deb Dana, Laura Marmosley, David Butler, Peter Levine, Gabor Mate, Thomas Hanna, the HeartMath Institute, and probably a lot more I’m not thinking about right now. And, of course, I also wanna thank my family and my friends and mentors who have believed in me even when I was lost in the dark and saw that one day my trials would serve a great purpose in the world.
