Modal 1 meditation break, guided primal trust meditation, finding innate okayness. Let’s begin with an abc awareness. Beginning with awareness, what doesn’t feel okay right now? Are you aware that part of you doesn’t like how your body feels? Are you aware of what you habitually resist about your body, your work, and your family?
Just becoming aware, Choose to be with yourself for just a few moments. Let’s begin to discover your primal trust. Be breathing now. Being in your body. Find a natural, easy breath of an equal inhale and exhale.
Being with your breath, being with your body that may not feel okay in this moment. But let’s let that be okay for now. Connecting with your body, Feel where you are. Where are you making contact with the ground or your chair? Feeling your feet, your bottom, your belly your spine.
Relax your tongue. For just this moment, allow your body to do what it does. Let your body be okay with all of the sensations you feel. Being okay even though you might not feel okay. Just breathing in.
And breathing out. I’m finding a choice inside of you. To connect to your primal trust, part c of ABC. Deep inside of you is an ancient memory of presence and trust. A trust in your body even when it’s ill.
A trust in nature’s way. A trust in the flow of life itself. Trust is the antidote to fear. Trust unlocks yourself healing. You’ve had this trust within you your whole life, and even before that.
Finding now a familiar feeling of awareness and a sense of innate okayness. A trust filled presence that is witnessing your life’s events with compassion and neutrality. A connected self that doesn’t run from your body, a connected self that doesn’t run from anger or grief. A connected self of loving presence that can be with all of it. This is the presence of primal trust, and you can connect to this aspect of yourself.
And you know that this feeling, this deep inherent trust in life is what you have been searching for. You thought it was lost or outside of you, but it’s not. It is here now. You are here now in this, in this body, in your primal trust. And you’re taking a journey to teach your brain and nervous system to find this perspective again and again.
To be able to trust even when you feel fear, confusion, anger, or grief. Noticing now. Where do you feel this trust? Place your hands on your belly and breathe in. Letting your belly know you are on a journey to bring your presence and primal trust into your body.
Now place your hands on your heart and breathe in. Letting your heart know that you’re coming home to yourself. Fall deeply into this part of your body sinking into your primal trust no matter how small it might feel right now. Know that you are on a journey to reclaim this frequency, this perspective. This experience.
It is the oldest part of you. It is part of the spark of life itself. Nature is primal trust. You are able to connect into this. And it is this feeling that unlocks your nervous system’s ability to self heal.
It is this relief of finding a nay okayness that helps your body unravel the tension and rewire. There’s nothing to think about. Just feeling and sinking into your deepest self. The one who rests in trust. The one who is carried by the universe itself.
