M1 : Lesson 7.4: CFS Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Transcript

Chronic fatigues syndrome, also called myelogic encephalomyelitis, CFS or ME, is a condition where the body presents with a significant amount of tiredness amongst other symptoms, doing the simplest task might cause the body to feel like it just ran a marathon. Although people with CFS might look fine, they often feel incapacitated and can be bed bound for months and even years. There are many theories and ideas about what causes CFS and how incurable it is. Despite these theories, I have seen hundreds of people recover from CFS by retraining their brain to move out of the chronic stress response. I will present an explanation based on the understanding of the Limbic system involvement and CFS.

With CFS, the limbic system and associated protective brain structure is misinterpret using energy as something that is threatening or dangerous. Think of a frozen and mobilized scared field mouse that needs to stay still so that the bird of prey flying above cannot see the mouse. The mitochondria in the cells are also no longer producing ATP to thrive and be energized, but rather the ATP produced are to signal cellular protection and survival. The body gets in a state of freeze or immobility, which I will and more in module 2, the Polyvago theory. Through careful retraining the limbic system stress signaling and improving the vagal tone of the nervous system, Messages of safety began to unlock the dormant vital force and restore energetic balance back to the body.

Retraining of the brain and body is done very carefully over time using the tools provided in this program so as not to over exert the body as it begins to produce more energy. As you learn about the polyvaggle theory and mapping your nervous system in module 2. You can learn strategies to move out of immobility, and teacher nervous system that it is safe to mobilize and come back into life. There are many contributing factors to CFS and ME. There are many contributing factors to CFS.

As I mentioned in a previous video, chronic viral infection can lead to the onset of CFS. So can toxic exposure. Another really common pattern I see is what I call the divided mind state, which was actually coined by John Sarno. I often see people who are go getters type a, workaholic, that all of a sudden crash was all their energy and mysteriously don’t recover. Even though these people have been successful, they carry a division in their unconscious mind against how they’re living their life and using their vital force, and it all eventually boils over.

One part of them wants to live the life they’re living, while another part of them does not see it as safe and seeks a way out. Part of the subconscious that is in constant stress resistance can eventually take over the autonomic nervous system by saying no, to the life they’re living, and the body can literally no longer keep living the old way. This setup looks like an internal push pull of the nervous system. You have one foot on the gas and the other one on the brakes at the same time. And that kind of deep subconscious division is depleting to the body’s vital force.

And eventually, the stress of it can become too much especially if there’s some type of toxic or pathogen exposure that happens at the same time. The key here from a final trust approach is that you learn to merge the division of your subconscious mind to convince all parts of you that you are gonna use your energy in a way that is in the highest good of all involved and to retrain your limbic system to send messages of safety to the body. You will need to change behavior habits and show yourself on a deep subconscious level that you will stop going against your truth. This results in a deep inner trust and a partnership with your unconscious aspect and your conscious mind. When this happens, there’s nothing blocking your energy from flowing in the direction of living life that you consciously choose to do.

This is not easy, But it can be done if you understand all of the contributing factors to your deep unconscious need for rest to be true to yourself. And define clarity of what your true purpose is. I know for some people chronic fatigue, they can get really upset when I say that it can be a divided mind. But I’ve seen hundreds of times where when people get clarity of how to use their energy in a way that’s in alignment, their energy comes back. Treating chronic fatigue requires a delicate balance of safety messages, coupled with careful pacing, incremental training of movement, and I believe most importantly that clear unified sense of purpose and direction.

I highly recommend inner work such as what we teach in the level 2 mentorship to help heal this divided mind state. I also highly recommend working with a coach or mentor to help you with pacing and incremental training and implementation of these tools and programs. Please do not go too fast through this program. The primal trust approach is very comprehensive. And one thing I see with those with CFS is sometimes they get overwhelmed easily trying to do too much too soon.

5:50This program is multifaceted and must be implemented slowly Again, I repeat, please take your time going through the modules. Please master one tool and scale at a time before moving on. And for some of you, you might simply just wanna watch the videos and listen the whole way through the first time before even implementing any practices. Just to prepare your brain with understanding, then go back through and sequence and practice one tool at a time, until you know your brain and body feel safe with that tool before moving on. Either way, having a one on one coach can be a very pathful part of your journey to have by your side
